Performing Arts

Performing Arts is an exciting opportunity for students to develop confidence, creativity and communication through performance. Whether their interests are in acting, music, musical theatre, television, production or performance, this pathway provides opportunities to explore a wide range of creative disciplines. Students work collaboratively while developing the confidence to express themselves, communicate effectively and perform in front of others.

Students will explore many aspects of performance including:

• Musical Theatre
• Television and Film
• Stage Combat
• Costume Design
• Set Design
• Production
• Comedy
• Movement

Alongside practical performances, students will complete a creative project portfolio showcasing their ideas, research and development. Performing Arts develops confidence, creativity, communication, teamwork, organisation and presentation skills that are highly valued in education, employment and everyday life
